Erection is where detailing and fabrication get tested. When one company owns all three, a question in the field goes back to the people who drew and built the piece.
GIW subcontracts the on-site work and includes the erector, decker and miscellaneous metals subcontractors on our own project team. We have working relationships with the major erectors, deckers and miscellaneous subcontractors in this market, including several AISC Certified Erectors.
We only bring in companies that take safety and customer service seriously. You manage one Division 5 contract, and we manage the crews.

Does GIW erect the steel it fabricates?
Yes, as part of a single Division 5 package. We subcontract the on-site work and include the erector on our project team, so GIW stays your one point of responsibility.
Who erects GIW's steel?
We work with the major erectors in this market, including several AISC Certified Erectors, and we only include companies with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Can deck and miscellaneous metals go on the same contract?
Yes. Our project team includes decking and miscellaneous metals subcontractors, so deck and miscellaneous steel can sit on the same contract as the structural steel.
